Lots of Optional Genie Features
Graphical Reports (drill-down) - Easily view important statistics (such as top 10 HHRG) in convenient colored graphical charts and graphs. Double-click a pie or a graph, and a list of patients within that classification displays.
OASIS-C Care Plans - These are disease- or condition-specific lists of problems, goals, interventions and outcomes to support OASIS-C and are added to the existing Care Map feature of Genie.
Drug Regimen - Genie's robust Drug Database allows the caregiver to conduct a comprehensive drug regimen to all medications being taken by a specific patient. A Drug Regimen Report shows drug interations and food-drug interactions. High-alert medications are flagged, duplicate drugs are reported, and precautions and side effects are shown. Informational drug leaflets for patient education are available in both English and Spanish. Updates are done every quarter as new drugs become available on the market.
Physician Electronic Signature - This optional Genie feature allows physicans to securely log in remotely to your database to review and electronically sign physican orders and 485s.
Genie Backup - Essential for backing up your entire Genie database. It even backs up while you're working in the Genie program - no need to shut down first! You can also customize the frequency of how often it updates. Backing up your data is only half the solution - recovery is the other half - and Genie Backup increases the possibility of recovering any lost data in the case of computer crashes, operator errors, and/or any unforeseen events.
Genie Point-of-Care - Eliminate costly redundant data entry, and reduce the risk of data entry mistakes. Easily execute on-site patient assessments and then synchronize your laptop with your agency's main office database at your convenience!
